The exhibition attempts to trace the spirit - the specific "sagsoget" (alloy) - of Bezalel jewellery, which has been created in recent years by the students and graduates of the Department of Jewelry and Fashion at the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design. Students who come to Bezalel in Jerusalem from all over Israel - from the most diverse areas, ethnicities and religions. The combination of the department's European, especially German, roots and its geographical and cultural location in the Middle East has created a conceptual and design dialectic that moves between opposing but always complementary poles.
