Botanical illustration is a centuries-old art form that originated in England. Plants are depicted true to nature down to the tiniest detail.
Katja Katholing-Bloss from Hof is one of the few representatives of botanical art in Germany. In 2019, she was accepted into the exclusive Society of Botanical Artists in London, where she currently serves on the board. After her exhibition at the Hof Muse-um in November 2020 was only accessible for a few days due to the second Corona lockdown, the new edition will start this spring.

In "Nature Becomes Art 2.0", deceptively realistic images of blossoms, fruits and leaves can be discovered, enchanting with their attention to detail and accuracy. New works are complemented by loans of paintings that have already been sold. In addition, a room is dedicated to the numerous student works inspired and accompanied by the artist's extensive teaching activities.
