Man and tree - Tree and man: a millennium-long relationship. The special exhibition focuses on the connection between man and nature, or more precisely: wood.
This ranges from the importance of trees for the environment to the extraction of wood and the many ways in which wood is processed. Visitors should be encouraged to see the tree as a living being, the forest as a habitat and themselves as part of this living world. That's why the tour is all about exploring, trying things out and taking part. Sniffing the scent of the forest and "forest bathing" to the rustling of leaves, chirping of birds and buzzing of bees, even in bad weather.
