The retrospective is dedicated to the multifaceted work of the artist Anna Mlasowsky, who was born in Germany in 1984 and is based in Seattle. Sculptures, sound and video installations as well as wall works will be presented. The focus is on objects that deal with the materiality of glass in ever new ways. But it is also about researching technical aspects and generally exploring boundaries, identity and interpersonal relationships.
Anna Mlasowsky is Professor of Glass and Ceramics at the Department of Crafts at Konstfack in Stockholm, one of the most important art academies in Scandinavia. She has received several international awards, including the Coburg Glass Prize 2014 and the Toyama International Glass Exhibition 2021.
