The Erinnerungsort Badehaus (Place of remembrance bathhouse) is showing the newly conceived travelling exhibition "Resistance Through Their Eyes" in its rooms. The exhibition focuses on the resistance actions and fates of young people during the Second World War who fought against war, injustice, totalitarianism, hatred, racism and anti-Semitism in Germany, Holland, Italy and Poland.
The exhibition was made possible by the LRE Foundation in cooperation with the White Rose Foundation (Germany), the City of Milan / the Ferrucio Parri Institute (Italy), the Resistance Museum Amsterdam (Netherlands) and the Museum of the Home Army Krakow (Poland).
32Biographies of people show, despite all the differences in age or origin, what they all had in common: courage and willingness to act
For Germany, the biographies presented include those of Traute Lafrenz and Hans Scholl, who were important members of the Munich resistance group "White Rose".
