The "DUCKWORKS" exhibition is part of the museum's tenth anniversary programme and showcases the impressive diversity of comic artist Ulrich Schröder's work. From work utensils and personal objects - including a letter from Carl Barks - to commercial works, for example for the fashion magazine ELLE, where Schröder staged Karl Lagerfeld, to cover designs for Mickey Mouse magazine and complete comic stories, both originals and prints are presented. The entire work process can be traced.
A particular highlight of the exhibition is the comic "The First Issue", published in the Finnish Aku Ankka magazine (Donald Duck magazine) in 2021, in which Donald travels back in time with the help of a time machine developed by Daniel Gyro Gearloose and meets Dr Erika Fuchs.
