"Imagine all the Pieces" is the title of the exhibition chosen by the artist Judith Milberg herself. With this invitation, she wants to encourage people to share her fascination, because nothing less than the Big Bang, the creation of the universe and the development of the earth, the diverse existence of atoms, molecules and cells that form into living beings inspire the artist. Consequently, in her work she deals with the complex phenomena and interrelationships of nature and finds inspiration for her works in many areas of science and philosophy. The intensive observation of natural phenomena never ceases to amaze the artist and drives her to mould her very personal, intuitive perception of the world into pictures. Plants that are rooted in the ground and strive towards the sky play a special role in her work, which is why her works often show implied flower shapes, as in Golden Origin - Blue Loop and Golden Origin - Red Loop.

At the beginning of each work, the artist feels a strong inner impulse that triggers a dynamic painting process. The exciting interplay of powerful colours, metallic glow, dense surfaces and transparent clouds on a raw wooden surface is striking. While her compositions begin spontaneously with the pouring of pigmented ink, she then works on sharply defined areas with pastel chalks, which she rubs deep into the wooden panels with her hands. In her paintings, dynamic, amorphous forms and pulsating, interwoven strands emerge that can hardly be tamed, interspersed with bright splashes of colour. Her multi-part paintings always give the impression of being part of a larger complex.

The infinity of space corresponds to the idea of temporal infinity, with the group Excavation reminiscent of excavations of long vanished creatures, while the works Big Bee, Outside of Category and Beyond Species hint at future animal species. All these phenomena are perceived as a snapshot in the flow of time, which inevitably reminds us of the finite nature of individual existence and leads to fundamental reflections on the meaning and value of life.
