Paul Maar is a virtuoso word artist and storyteller. He is the "father" of Sams, a bright red-haired creature with a proboscis nose, and has also created characters and stories such as "The Opodeldoks", "Little Troll Tojok" and "Lippel's Dream". With his literary and artistic work, he has been inspiring a young and not-so-young audience for generations. His numerous books have been translated into almost all languages. The exhibition shows children's book illustrations, imaginative drawings, prints and photographs. With theatre, readings, film screenings and many other surprises, the Buchheim Museum is looking forward to welcoming many visitors young and old.
