From Alaska to Australia, from Siberia to South Africa – it can now be found all over the world: the Herrnhut Star. What once had its humble beginnings in Upper Lusatia in the 19th century has long since enjoyed worldwide popularity. The star, with its 25 points, holds a special fascination for many people. During the Christmas season, it is impossible to imagine countless living rooms without the Herrnhut Star.
In collaboration with the Herrnhut Star Manufactory, the BIBEL MUSEUM BAYERN explores the fascination surrounding the Herrnhut Star in this exhibition. Embark on an exciting journey through its history, learn more about its significance and take a look behind the scenes at its intricate production process.
