How can furniture as a spatial body change rooms? Reinhold Stoll addresses this question with individual wooden objects that are placed freely in the room as solitaires. His
particular interest in the subject of sitting. "Sitting is an activity that encourages you to engage
object and is very appealing to me as a designer," explains the South Tyrolean master carpenter and state-certified form and room designer. "My aim is to develop my own idea of form in dialogue with the material and to relate physical design to the surrounding space," explains Reinhold Stoll.
"In doing so, I use a reduced, purist design, where proportion and construction are realised in a way that is appropriate to the work and material. My aim is to develop a contemporary design language that expresses independence and is recognisable.
