Our world is changing - and so are the Alps! Climate change is not only leading to particularly massive changes in temperature and precipitation in the Alps with effects on natural hazards, flora, fauna and biodiversity. Adaptation processes are also affecting the Alpine region and mountain sports: new energy plants, the reorganisation and/or expansion of tourist destinations, the conversion of huts and trails and changes in mountain sports activities.

Together with employees and members of the Alpine associations, students from LMU Munich, CIPRA Germany and other experts, we are looking at the effects of climate change and searching for ways to respond to our changing future.
