Multiplied Art since the 1960s - the Erlangen Municipal Collection

In addition to the regularly changing solo exhibitions of young artists, the Kunstpalais also includes the Erlangen Municipal Collection which currently comprises well over 4,500 works. The focus is on international multiplied art such as prints, multiples, artist's books, photography and video works. It includes works by artists such as Andy Warhol, Raphaela Vogel, Jürgen Teller and Simon Mullan. Carefully selected works are added to the collection every year in order to continue to represent the latest art history with its most important representatives. Items from the collection are also presented at regular intervals in the exhibition rooms of the Kunstpalais.
