The show is based on a collection of postcards recently acquired by the Haus der Bayerischen Geschichte, an initial selection of which can be seen in the photo exhibition "People in the Bavarian Forest 1900-1950". In its continuation and expansion, the presentation will be expanded three-dimensionally - characteristics of the Bavarian Forest will be spectacularly staged using original objects. The stories told are based on the latest research by Dr Richard Loibl, Director of the Haus der Bayerischen Geschichte, on his home region, which he will publish in a book accompanying the exhibition.
